Lewisville wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning scoring a single run. Jefferson Park made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across. The victory was credited to Mark Buehrle(16-14) who went 8 and 1/3 innings, allowing 2 runs. Buehrle got relief help from Jesus Colome who gained credit for his 5th save.
